SUPPORTING Women in General Practice

CRISPIGP is a supportive network founded by Dr. Farnoush Nia in 2021, created specifically for women in General Practice who are experiencing or at risk of burnout.

This community offers a safe and collegial space for female-identifying General Practitioners across Australia, fostering connection, empathy, and mutual support. CRISPIGP is grounded in the values of mutual respect and therapeutic relationships, built upon a shared understanding of the unique personal and professional challenges faced by women in General Practice today.

Through peer support, open dialogue, and a strong sense of solidarity, CRISPIGP empowers its members to thrive—both personally and professionally.

We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the country and land on which this organisation is based, and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We would like to acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi People. We thank them for the opportunity afforded us to be able to live, work, and profit off the land. We pay our respects to the people, the culture, and all Elders past, present and emerging.
